Octavius has secured a place on the YORcivil Major Works 2 Contractors Framework Agreement, for schemes with a minimum value of £10 million. YORcivil is used by local authorities in Yorkshire and the Humber for the procurement of civil engineering services.
Through the framework transport solutions provider Octavius will deliver highways, public realm and integrated transport infrastructure projects. YORcivil Major Works 2 runs until November 2029 and includes the option to extend for another two years.
“Octavius has grown into a national business, this win reinforces that. We are now delivering transport infrastructure from Cornwall to Northumberland,” said Jarrod Parkin, Frameworks Manager, Octavius. “In northern England YORcivil Major Works 2 joins YORcivil3, NEPO, Manchester Highways, Peel Ports and National Highways’ Scheme Delivery North East and North West, and Regional Delivery Partnership on our portfolio of highways frameworks.”
Octavius’ highways business is already delivering integrated transport infrastructure schemes on its framework portfolio in the north of England. Winning places on YORcivil, and similar frameworks, is one way in which Octavius is extending the support it provides for combined authorities and local authorities nationwide.
Octavius achieved record turnover of £323 million for financial year 2024-25, and record EBITDA* profit of £13 million. In the last three years the company has grown by nearly 70 percent. Growth was spread across both the highways and rail businesses, with the latter also extending its reach into northern England by securing positions on National Rail’s CP7 North West & Central Enhancements and Eastern Routes Partnership frameworks.
