Herefordshire Council has awarded Octavius’ Regional Civil Engineering (RCE) business a place on its new Highways and Public Realm Schemes Framework.

Octavius Regional Civil Engineering is Octavius’ self-delivery business, and the team successfully secured places on:

  • Lot 1 – Civils schemes of less than £500,000
  • Lot 2 – Civils schemes of £500,000 to £3M

“Our new framework with Hereford Council further demonstrates Octavius RCE’s commitment to supporting local authorities across England, through the maintenance and development of their road and public realm infrastructure,” said Chris Ellis, Delivery Director, Octavius Regional Civil Engineering.

The win builds on Octavius RCE’s strong relationship with Herefordshire Council, forged on previous projects such as the Great Western Way enhancements on a key pedestrian and cycle route in Hereford. The framework runs until 2030.

Octavius RCE’s Herefordshire Council framework cements the company’s position in central and western England, where it has been a long-term highways framework partner for numerous local authorities as well as National Highways. Notably, in spring 2026 the business won a place on the new £150M Black Country Framework, used by organisations, mainly local authorities, across the West Midlands to procure a wide range of services to expand, renew and maintain their highways infrastructure.
