Everyone deserves equal access to the railway.

Access for All is about the principle that the railway should work for every passenger, whatever their age, ability or circumstance. Octavius has delivered step-free access at over 30 stations, and we're not stopping.

Imagine depending on a wheelchair, a pram, a walking frame — and living near a station you cannot use. The railway, for millions of disabled people, older passengers and families with young children, remains inaccessible. Access for All exists to change that. Every station made step-free is a community gained, not just a platform improved.

Octavius is one of the UK's leading Access for All delivery partners. We have delivered step-free access improvements at more than 30 stations under the Network Rail programme, installing lifts, footbridges, ramps, improved signage and enhanced facilities to the highest standards.

What we deliver

Step-free access routes, new and refurbished footbridges, platform-level lifts, accessible toilets and facilities, improved signage and wayfinding, tactile paving and level boarding improvements. We deliver complex infrastructure in live station environments, maintaining passenger access throughout.

Social justice, built in concrete and steel

Every step-free scheme we complete is an act of social inclusion. It says: your journey matters as much as anyone else's. That is a value we hold. Access for All is The Octavius Way made physical.
